FRIENDS OF KOALA
Friends of KOALA are a dedicated group of people who spread the word for us. Awareness is critical for fund-raising, so the more people we have sharing our story the more great work we can do. Becoming a friend is easy and allows you to part of a wonderful project in the fight against poverty.
FUNDRAISING:
Fundraising is something everyone can do. It can be as simple as passing the hat around at your workplace or as extravagant as a masquerade ball.
It is up to you how big or small you want to make your event. Just remember that every dollar counts.
SPREAD THE WORD:
We have presentations, photos and information available should you want to spread the word for us in your local community. Please email me if you are interested in making a difference to some amazing children's lives by becoming a friend of KOALA.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF
Have you ever wanted to challenge yourself in an extreme (or not so extreme) way—run 5km, run a Marathon, skydiving, lose 5kg, climb Mt Kilimanjaro or Everest, or completing a Triathlon or Ironman ? Challenge yourself fundraisers are easy. Decide what challenge you’re going to take, tell all your friends about it and get them to sponsor you along the way. We have an easy online donation system already set up, so simply follow the link below, set up your donations page, nominate The KOALA Project as your nominated charity, and start training !! 
CHOCOLATE DRIVE
Fundraising chocolates are another easy you can help to raise money for The KOALA project. We have plenty of chocolate boxes ready to purchase and sell at your local hairdresser, school or workplace. If you are able to sell a few boxes please contact me for details. 
DONATE IN LIEU OF GIFTS
Are you getting married, turning 40, or having a party and don't need gifts even though people insist on bringing them. Why not ask your very kind and generous friends to make a donation to The KOALA Wishing Well instead. Simply share our fundraising page with your friends and they can honour you and your celebration in their comments. |
EVENTS:
In Sept 2013 an energetic group of fundraisers completed the Sydney Running Festival Bridge Run to raise money for The KOALA Project. This group of 10 individuals raised over $2000 from this event If anyone is interested in conducting a fundraising event for The KOALA project please contact me as it is very simple and we have the fund-raising website already set up etc. It's a simple and fun easy to raise money for a worthy cause. 
COMMUNITY STALLS:
Our youngest KOALA Friend wanted to help in our fundraising efforts last year. Sophie, aged 5, set up her own cake stall raising over $250, amazing effort Soph and thanks for your support.
